We are delighted to bring you another seminar in our Employment Law series of seminars for 2021/2022. This series focuses on key employment issues in the workplace. These seminars will be held at 7 Library Place in the Conference Suite. At the end of each session there will be time for questions.
Time: 12:00pm – 1:00pm
This seminar is an introduction to Disability and Reasonable Adjustments under the Discrimination Law, and focuses on:
- Defining disability under the law;
- What are reasonable adjustments and when are they required?;
- In what circumstances can employers be accused of discriminating against disabled employees;
- How to create supportive workplaces for those with disabilities;
- The business case for advancing equality of opportunity;
- The importance of making reasonable adjustments in the workplace; and
- Creating better workplaces through policies and procedures.
