- Supporting and developing experience in share transfer, freehold, and flying freehold transactions.
- Assisting with and acting on property financing matters, advising both lenders and borrowers.
- Managing your own files (commensurate with experience) and ensuring transactions progress efficiently.
- Working closely with colleagues across the team and firm to ensure seamless client service.
- Supporting the supervision and development of juniors and paralegals where appropriate.
- Providing clear, accurate, and practical legal advice with appropriate supervision.
- Ensuring compliance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Contributing to the team’s knowledge sharing and supporting business development initiatives where appropriate.
Requirements
- A qualified lawyer with 1+ years’ post-qualification experience (PQE).
- A solid grounding in property law, preferably with exposure to Jersey law or a similar jurisdiction.
- Some experience or familiarity with:
- Residential and/or commercial conveyancing.
- Leases.
- Share transfer or freehold transactions.
- Property financing (desirable but not essential).
- Ability to manage multiple matters with appropriate supervision and prioritisation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to take ownership of tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- An interest in developing technical expertise and building long-term client relationships.
Benefits
- Competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.
- Supportive and collaborative working environment.
- Flexible working arrangements may be considered.
