My journey into law began long before university lectures or legal textbooks. It started with my grandfather - he was a partner at Linklaters, and although I didn’t fully understand the scale of that as a child, I knew he carried himself with pride in his work. His stories weren’t just about deals or cases; they were about people, challenges, and values.
That early influence stayed with me. While I was drawn to the logic and structure of legal thinking, it was the human side - the impact, the fairness, the problem-solving - that truly resonated. I went on to study Law at university, and now I’m undertaking the SQE while continuing to build experience in the profession.
I’ve always been someone who pays attention to detail but also cares about the bigger picture. Law brings those two instincts together. Whether I’m researching, drafting, or listening, I’m driven by a belief that law should be both rigorous and human.
