Nikolina Joined in June 2025 as a Senior Finance Administrator. Her role involves preparing client financial statements, assisting with internal reporting and supporting the finance team with day-to-day finance operations.
When I was 11 years old, I spent the summer holidays with my brother at my aunties’ place in the countryside. My cousin was studying law at university at the time, and we used to listen to her reading aloud whilst sitting on the terrace floor surrounded by highlighters, books, and notebooks.
It sounded like the most complicated thing in the world, and I remember thinking to myself, “I don’t know what I want to do when I grow up, but I know one thing I definitely don’t want to do – law.”
That same year, I also decided I didn’t want anything to do with numbers or maths—simply because I didn’t like my maths teacher.
And here I am today, enjoying numbers and spreadsheets at a law firm. No one ever believes me when I say I love Mondays.
This is one of the reasons I enjoy listening to people’s life stories - because I truly believe life writes the best novels and creates the most unexpected scenarios.
On that note, I also once said I never wanted to live by the sea. I loved the sea so much, I was afraid I might start taking it for granted.
Thankfully, that didn’t happen. And now, I’m very happy and grateful to enjoy sea views and long walks along the sandy beaches of this beautiful island.
