Alison joined David Benest Law, one of the predecessor firms, in 2013 when it was founded. As Practice Manager, Alison plays a key role in supporting the partners and senior management team in the day-to-day running of the firm and partnership. Her work sits at the heart of the business, ensuring our operations are smooth, people-focused, and aligned with the values that define us. From overseeing the office premises to managing staff recruitment, HR functions, and employee benefits, Alison's focus is on creating an environment where our team can do their best work. Her responsibilities are both strategic and operational, reflecting the firm’s commitment to excellence not just in legal services, but in how we support the people behind them.
Born and raised in Jersey, my career has always been shaped by a strong work ethic and a natural ability to juggle the demands of professional and family life. I spent several years in the UK supporting my husband as a professional golfer on the European Tour, before we eventually returned home to Jersey to raise our two daughters—now grown up and carving their own paths.
Most of my working life has been spent in the legal world, where I’ve always felt energised by the fast-paced environment and the challenges that come with it. Since joining the firm in 2013 as PA to David Benest at the predecessor firm, David Benest Law, I’ve had the opportunity to grow alongside the practice.
The experiences I've gained both in life and throughout my career have shaped the way I work today: calm under pressure, highly organised, and always ready to roll up my sleeves!
