Emily joined BCR Law LLP in October 2026 as an Accounts & Finance Assistant. She is part of the team with Tracy and Laura, and looks forward to learning and assisting with all aspects of the role.
I started working in the Finance sector when I was 18, before moving into the Trust and Company sector, where I stayed for 10 years.
I have been temping and contracting since October 2017, which has allowed me to experience a variety of different roles, in a number of different companies. During the summer of 2026, I found the role when looking on the Gov.je website one day, and I realised that now was the time I wanted to move back into a permanent role - it was time for a new chapter, and one that would allow me to use the skills I have acquired over the years in a different setting.
I just had a really good feeling about BCR from the moment I came out of the interview, I can’t put my finger on it to describe it but it just felt right for me, somewhere I could fit in and (hopefully!) contribute towards a team that makes a difference.
