Humanity

I am lucky enough to have travelled and lived in many different counties: my father was in the oil industry and so we moved around a lot as a child. This obviously made an impact as since qualifying as an English solicitor in 2006 I have practised as a lawyer in no less than four different legal jurisdictions, gaining legal qualifications in two (I am also a Guernsey Advocate). Having relocated to the Channel Islands in 2011 (and after a stint practising as a property lawyer in the UAE) we put down roots in Jersey, which I find to be an amazing place to live and work. I enjoy the transactional nature of property and find it satisfying to help people navigate the nuances and quirks of Jersey law. Having worked at large international firms, I really enjoy working at a smaller, more agile local firm with that personal touch and still having exposure to interesting and varied work. Outside of the law, I enjoy walks with the family and our Westie, playing football with my son, playing the guitar, snowboarding and watching my beloved Manchester City (not necessarily in that order).
