Olly has worked in conveyancing since 2017 and has developed strong experience across a broad range of residential property transactions in Jersey. Over the years, he has assisted clients through every stage of the conveyancing process, from initial instruction through to completion, helping transactions progress smoothly and efficiently.
What Olly enjoys most about conveyancing is the variety the role provides. No two properties or transactions are ever the same, which keeps the work engaging and rewarding on a day-to-day basis. He particularly enjoys the problem-solving aspect of conveyancing, as well as working closely with clients, estate agents, lenders and other professionals to help achieve successful outcomes.
Being involved in Jersey property matters is especially important to him, as the work is closely connected to the local community and island life. Olly values the opportunity to work directly with people during significant milestones in their lives, whether they are purchasing their first home, moving property or making future investments.
Since beginning his career in 2017, Olly has continued to build his knowledge and practical expertise within conveyancing and remains committed to providing a professional, approachable and reliable service.
It’s my grandma I need to thank for pointing me towards conveyancing!
I always felt a pull towards law, especially my desire to hold an argument, but the idea of conveyancing didn’t land with me until my early 20’s. Having floated between a number of local jobs, it was suggested that I have a meeting with a partner in a local firm to understand a little more of what ‘conveyancing’ was about. Nearly 10 years on, I’m still here and enjoying it!
Jersey born and raised, my life has always been here in Jersey. It’s a joy to be able work and contribute to something so personal and local to Jersey and our people, such as property.
If you would like a true insight into what I do, ask my children, they will tell you proudly I go to work to “make coin for ice creams”.
