Expertise

I joined BCR Law in 2018 and, with the support of the firm's Private Client team, qualified as a Jersey Solicitor in 2023. I work closely with our Managing Partner, Advocate David Benest, helping clients plan for and navigate some of life's most significant and sensitive events.

I advise clients on a range of private client matters, including the preparation of local and non-resident Wills, capacity issues, probate applications and estate administration. I have particular expertise in both local and international probate matters, guiding executors, beneficiaries and families through the administration of estates with efficiency and compassion.

Known for my approachable manner and attention to detail, I am committed to providing practical, tailored advice that helps clients manage their affairs with confidence and peace of mind.

Humanity

My path into law wasn’t planned, I returned to the island post-university intending to pursue a career with the police force. A chance opportunity to get involved in one of Jersey’s largest trust disputes at another firm set me on a different path.  I’m sure the people of Jersey are far safer as a result.

My practice area demands a level of empathy not often associated with being a solicitor.  I take great pride in the trust my clients place in me - whether that's safeguarding their life assets for future generations or sharing memories of loved ones.  Ultimately, my aim is to help make planning for the future feel less overwhelming, and to ease the burden when navigating the red tape that often follows the loss of a loved one.

The firm is home to a team of incredibly supportive and skilled people and it is the sense of camaraderie that makes working here all the more enjoyable.
